Alexandria, VA — The National Community Pharmacists Association (NCPA) has announced that Executive Vice President and CEO Bruce T. Roberts, RPh, will leave the organization as of June 25, 2010. “After nearly nine years at the helm of NCPA, the time seems right to turn over the reins of the association,” Roberts said. He will join BeneCard PBF, a prescription benefit facilitator, as president and CEO. Until a replacement is named, NCPA Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer B. Douglas Hoey, MBA, RPh, will serve as acting executive vice president and CEO.
